  11. Just wondering if anyone knows of a way (preferably in software, though 
  12. hardware would work), of disabling the hard drive from booting?

  14. I have quite a few demos that REFUSE to boot in PAL mode unless it sees 
  15. the "Insert Workbench" disk animation/screen (3.0). Before I had the hard 
  16. drive working (BTW thanks to many people here for that), I had no 
  17. problems running the demos. Then with the hard drive, I can't get to that 
  18. screen, and these refuse to switch completely. (Some examples are 
  19. Spaceballs' 9 Fingers and Faculty's Lethal Dose...)

  21. As such, I can't run them anymore.

  23. And I REALLY don't want to start ripping the internal hard drive out each 
  24. time I want to run the demos.

  26. I was considering trying to splice the power line to the HD into a 
  27. switch, but I wanted to check if there was a better way before I started 
  28. doing any heavy modifications. :p
